We really enjoyed all of our food here! Even though it’s an order-at-the-counter setup, the service throughout our meal was great, friendly and attentive. We tried the lemon ricotta rigatoni, which was absolutely delicious, and the Alfredo rigatoni was also really good. We also ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza and a classic pepperoni pizza both had a super tasty crust and great toppings. The spicy calamari was out of this world delicious! For dessert, we grabbed some cannolis with fun flavors. The maple bacon was surprisingly delicious! We would definitely come here again. Great food, great experience!

It was our first time here and glad we stopped in. It was a weird time of day so there was only 1 other table occupied, we were before dinner but after the lunch hour but we did see people calling in orders and coming to pick up. They were going through some remodel so things were a tad displaced but that didn't hurt our experience. During the time we went, you ordered at the counter and they bring the food to you, but the plans are to have a sit down plan where they come to you and take your order. We started off with the garlic puffs and let me tell you, THEY'RE AMAZING! We also got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, although it was good, it needed more sauce because I like mine saucy and we also got just the 10in pepperoni pizza. And almost forgot the lasagna and All were good, and the pizza was perfect. I am not sure if it was the manager or owner that came out to check about on us and our meal, but I did tell him I loved it all but maybe put more sauce on the Alfredo, he said they were training a new cook and he will make sure they put more and we went in the back and got me a container with extra sauce to go since we already boxed up our leftovers. That was so nice, I didn't ask him for that, he just gave it. Impressive. The experience was good, the food was great and the staff was very nice and polite. I will definitely go back...in fact, my husband already went back and got the garlic puffs to go with a Italian dinner I was making for dinner, lol..that should tell you something. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items. Go try this place and give them some love, we hope they stay for the long haul.

We went to dinner with friends and tried this newer restaurant. We all thought our food was delicious! The service was great. And they stayed busy, filling tables as they emptied. It also appeared many order take out. If you want pasta or pizza, this is a great place!

This weekend we were all wanting something a bit different and trying to decide where we’d all be happy. Half my family always wants pizza and I’m just over it, but when I came across Modo Mio I knew there would be plenty of things to choose from. When we cloaked in it was empty. We were in between late lunch and start of dinner. Instantly we were told by a girl at the counter they don’t do table service for lunch so we had to order at the counter. They do bring you the food etc though once ordered No big deal we sat with the menus as we decided. My husband and I always go back and forth about trying a meatball sub places, but I’m always on the fence as they just don’t look or sound good to me. Today though after looking over fellow reviewers I kept seeing theirs over and over. To me that tells me it’s going to be good. I ordered it off their lunch special with a side salad. We agreed if awful he’d split his personal pizza with me and eat the other half ha ha . Deal. We also ordered another personal pizza and more wings off the lunch special for my daughter. Well, too bad for my husband because I ate that entire meatball sub lol. The bread was toasted and a bit crispy, good sauce to meat ratio and cheese ooey and gooey. My side salad was fresh and I was glad my dressing came on the side so I could add as little or much as I wanted. Prices were fair for the lunch specials, Service was ok, but I’d of liked if they’d been a bit more friendly at walk in instead of the instant …dining in, no table service comment…. Just a little better on how the tone came out, but that’s my opinion. The location was clean. The vibe gave off more fast food but a little more upscale than fancy Italian . Parking was easy in and out. We’d go again. Maybe for dinner.,

For Sunday night supper, we ordered lasagna, Italian Wedding Soup, garlic bread and a Key Lime Cannoli from DoorDash. My husband jumped into the lasagna so quickly & devoured it. He loved it. Luckily. I got a third and that lasagna was delicious! Balanced homemade, tasting sauce with a creamy, generous mozzarella (we add extra & extra sauce because DoorDash recommends?) The meat in the sauce is wagu and it’s tasty. The garlic bread was seasame seed- extra yummy for me! I ordered Italian Wedding soup for my dinner & wow!! The tiny chucks of meatballs & veggies fill the parmesan scented broth!! The soup had a very balanced broth with a nice hint even of lemon I think… Then I am in a Key Lime kick so I was worth the $8+ for the cannoli & of course the outside nice crisp outside shell & yummy key lime custard inside with whip cream on the ends. Only complaint- could be more for the $8? But then again it was great & how much can you expect … We will DEFINITELY return to Modo Mio Italian Kitchen because of the fresh food & great Italian recipes. Great job. Bravo chef!

Decided to come here for an early Saturday dinner. A lot of people came in after us and seems like there were alot of to go orders. They are now an official sit down restaurant and no longer a counter where you order. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, baked rigatoni and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata had too many capers but it was flavorful and chicken was cooked perfectly. I did find that the sauce was a bit too thick and not “saucy”. The baked rigatoni was good but the red sauce didn’t have that simmered flavor and no meat. The stuffed mushrooms were flavorful but texture of filling needed some help. We ordered a slice of limoncello cake but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. I usually get limoncello cake when we go to Rosa’s Pizzeria in Prescott because they order their cake from Italy so I’m a bit spoiled. My husband loves red sauce and he said it wasn’t as good as Times Square. He’s also spoiled because I make a long simmering red sauce at home. All that to say If we are in the area and want some Italian food I wouldn’t hesitate to go here. I may be back to try their pizza. The manager came to our table which was nice and our server was great. They have some good lunch and HH specials.
